Comment-I have sent many packages that require labels-most of which are returned by Amazon or shipped by eBay. I usually print out a piece of paper, cut off the excess part, and then tape the remaining part to the box. It seems a bit wasteful. With a label printer, I think I can save a lot of steps and no longer need to stick tape on plain paper! This is the location of the iDPRT SP410 thermal label printer.
Thermal printers do not use ink or toner. Instead, it uses special paper or labels. iDPRT SP410 can accommodate labels from 2 inches to 4.65 inches wide, connects via USB, and is compatible with Mac and PC.
For starters, the printer is very small. It’s about the size of a loaf of bread. This is the state that the printer is turned on, and the test print is still inside.
Since then, I have realized that this printer does not store printer paper or labels like traditional printers. You must attach a paper roll or box to the outside of the printer to feed paper. There is a power switch on the back side of the printer, while the USB has
Inside the printer, you will notice jagged blades. It will not automatically crop your photos. You tear them off with your hands.
I bought a box of 4×6 labels, and then opened the top to use as a funnel. Here, the label is fed into the back of the printer.
I can print the label image of my screenshot (command-shift-4 on Mac), which is my usual method. The printing speed of iDPRT SP410 is surprisingly fast. I don’t even have time to do it! Take a look.
It seems that iDPRT SP410 has many clones on Amazon. They may be similar. I am very satisfied with the size, speed and convenience of the SP410.
Expert tip: The wall-mounted toilet paper holder is an excellent label paper holder (the wall-mounted base is against a table or a horizontal surface).
What is the quality, resolution and contrast of the printed results? I have read some other thermal printer reviews that complain about these aspects.
