DTM Print, an international OEM and solution provider for professional printing systems, has launched the new LX3000e color label printer manufactured by Primera Technology.
The latest member of the LX series of desktop full-color label printers uses the same platform as the popular LX910e printer, but adds a large independent ink cartridge and reusable thermal inkjet print head. It has a native 1200 DPI resolution, and the maximum print resolution is 1200 x 4800 DPI. It can produce labels up to 210 mm (8.25 inches) wide and 610 mm (24 inches) at a speed of 114 mm (4.5 inches) per second.
Each individual CMY ink tank can hold 60 ml of ink. The pre-primed, user-replaceable print head also has 42 ml ink, for a total of 222 ml ink. Provide dye and pigment models. Replacing the ink tank is easy to install and no further activation is required to achieve uninterrupted printing.
The Big Ink system on the LX3000e uses the latest technology dye and pigment inks, optimized for brightness, durability and optical density. The latter is particularly high for the printing black of the LX3000e, which is the blackest black ever released by Primera in CMY printers.
Process black has many advantages for labels, including better water resistance, compatibility with a wider range of specialty label media, and greater resistance to smearing on high-gloss media.
LX3000e is suitable for users who need to print up to 10,000 labels per day. The sturdy powder-coated steel cover and all-steel frame help protect the printer in most office, warehouse, and factory environments. It is compatible with Windows 7, 8x and 10. The macOS printer driver will be available for download in the third quarter of 2021. Interfaces include Ethernet and USB 2.0 wired ports.
“LX3000e is a desktop label printer that perfectly extends our printing solution portfolio,” said Andreas Hoffmann, managing director of DTM Print. “It combines the latest ink technology, excellent print quality and extremely low cost per label.”
LX3000e can be obtained directly from DTM Print or through authorized DTM Print partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Shipping is scheduled to start in the late summer of 2021.
